Color is the first thing I want people to notice about my work. I surround myself with color in my personal life so it’s instinctive for me to fill my canvases and photographs with bold, bright hues. In the long New England winters, bright colors warm my heart and home. In the summer heat, I prefer to use cool colors or paint seascapes.

Photography is a passion of mine but I also am filled with a creative energy that needs to be expressed with paint. Sometimes I have the urge to capture the energy of a bloom bursting open or the symphony of a sunset. The colors speak to me, energize me, and let my spirit soar.
