Gloria Ross's art education and journey as an artist have continued and developed over the years with courses at DeCordova Museum, the museum school at The Boston Museum of Fine Arts and numerous workshops. Having started as a stone sculptor and printmaker, she then took courses in acrylic painting, pastel, collage, hand-made paper making, encaustic and drawing. Consequently she evolved into the artist she is today - presently focused on mixed media painting and clay sculpture.
Gloria has shown at The Copley Society (she is a Copley Artist Member), Gallery Mourlot, Cambridge Art Association, Weston Arts And Crafts and Concord Art Associations. She has won numerous awards at juried shows at these venues.
Also a member of New England Sculpture Association and the Monoprint Guild of New England, Gloria has been a docent at DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum since 2011.
